Position Title:Production and Factory Supervisor

Industry: Fruit Juices and Related Products

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: Nairobi

Salary: Ksh 80,000-  120,000 Gross

Our client is company based in Kenya engaged in the manufacturing of fruit based beverages managed by a dedicated energetic team with a passion for healthy and nutritious food products. They seek to hire a factory supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities

·             In charge of Water Treatment Plant and production of Bottled Water & Mineral Water

·             Mixing and Preparation of Raw Materials for Fruit Juice Production

·             Quality Control Supervision

·             Lab work, and product sampling

·             Control of Factory Staff and allocation of duties on a daily basis

·             Daily Production Planning

·             Supervision and Maintenance of the complete Plant & Machinery

·             Cost Control in relation to Power & Other Production Costs

·             Basic Electrical knowledge

·             Plant Sanitization and CIP

·             Liasing with KEBS/NEMA and other regulatory authorities

·             New Product Development

Qualifications

·             Degree in Manufacturing/ Processing Engineering/ Food Science/ Chemistry

·             Any professional certifications preferred

·             Minimum of 3-5 Years Working Experience in Manufacturing as Production Head

·             Knowledge of Utility Equipment like Boilers, Compressors, Generators

·             Knowledge of Fruit Juice Processing and Filling Equipment

·             Knowledge of HACCP, Food Hygiene and Safety

·             Excellent computer skills
